Where can I buy a throttle shaft for a 1 1/2" throttle bore M-25 Linkert. I've ordered from 2 sources and both are .002" undersized and appear to be made by the same manufacturer.

Pops
I thought about the smaller bushing thing but then I would have to buy more reamers and make my own bushings. It would be oh so easy if only the guy making the shaft would make them the right size. The only 1 1/2" NOS shaft I have left that I have been saving for a pattern measures exactly .250" and the repops measure a tad over .248".
I know Lee from Lee's Speed Shop very well - met him 30 years ago when he was wrenching at Twin Cities South with Neil Ryan but I suspect he has the same suppliers that I have - unless he has NOS.

I always check with Tom or Russ at the meets but I did not make either Oley or Wauseon. They haven't had any for a few years (at least out on the table to sell) unless they acquired more somewhere.

Beware that Eastern's are totally worthless, as the slot is so wide that tightening the screws distorts them enough to bind in the bushings.
The only acceptible modern productions that I am aware of are from Larry Elias of the Netherlands.
And I still trim them up.

I dunno, since he stopped answering my emails a couple years ago, and his url didn't work either. But maybe he will stop by my booth at D-port again!
