Seems like many posts here have been about stationary situations. Yesterday Knucklehead Company hit the road for a short 125 mile ride. We took secondary roads to Fremont , Wi. Fremont is a tourist trap . It's located on the Wolf River. They have a bunch of taverns buit over the banks of the river. All the yuppies sit on the decks drinking their PEnis Colostomies and gawking at the 1/4 million dollar cigarette boats that cruise up and down the river. We waited for an hour for a greasy helping of fries and a burger. Doesn't sound too exciting ?????
Well the big fun was a stop at the Wild Rose State Fish Hatchery. This is one the prettiest place in east central Wisconsin. It was established early in the 20th century. It is a cold water hatchery. The state raises primarily trout and salmon there. If any of you find yourselves in the area, do check it out. Mean while check out some images from our day.

Nice pictures John, Looks like it was a good time. Good to see some pictures of on the road. I go through Fremont occaisionally but have not stopped for a long time. May have to ride over there and check it out. I go past that hatchery several times a year but have also never stopped. Looks like a stop would be well worth the time. I believe that hatchery also raises the great lakes musky strain. My youngest brother has been doing well on those this year again. Last week a 55 incher was caught from his boat and released.
